Fight Night Round 4
Fight Night Round 4 is a very tactical game on the inside like real life boxing. It brings that sense of realism that most boxing games have not created in the past. If you are a fan of boxing this game is a must have. With over 40 characters from the past and present it’s a boxing fans dream to be able to put Tyson versus Ali.
The game comes with a lot to do. There is legacy mode, where you can build your own character and train him through the life of a rookie boxer trying to make it big. Legacy mode comes with tournaments, scheduling, preparing and training for fights. In this mode you can build a boxer to look and act the way you want him to. You can chose to make your character giant or tiny it’s all up to you. The choices are awesome with being able to pick your characters reach, speed, power and much more. You can make your boxers style inside or out, fast or slow. The game brings a sense of detail that is recreated in most role playing games.
Online mode is fantastic in Fight Night Round 4. You can fight players from around the world with real life boxers or take you character from legacy mode and let him do his bidding against other player made characters. What’s cool is you can fight and defend belts in the online world against other gamers online. The cool part about taking your characters online is that you can make a giant or a mini me and be able to put them up against other online opponents was definitely fun.
In conclusion, the game brings a fresh breath into the gaming world of boxing. The only con I found within the game is that your hand can get very tired after playing for a while. Fighting does feel a bit repetitive after a month of playing the game, but over all if you are a boxing fan by any means this is a must have. It’s the best in its series.
Difficulty - 8.5 - Game becomes progressively more difficult, but really more repetitive than difficult.
Story – 7.5- Good Storyline, if you call lagecy mode a story
Graphics – 9.5 – Excellent Graphics, the series is know for bring it in terms of graphics every year.
Sound – 9.0 – Nice sound effects, blends with game perfect
Controls – 9.0 – Great controls! Medium to learn and master.
Replay Value – 9.0 – The game can be fun if you play online for months to come
Overall – 8.5 – Great game, Fingers and brain get tired after playing for a couple of weeks.
