Battlefield Bad Company 2 is an incredible game that learns from its predecessors. The series takes it to the next level with its destructible terrains and the ability to mount different types of vehicles. There is not much competition when it comes to a large scale multiplayer with actual destroyable environments. This is not a small pipe line busting open or a wall being cracked. The game brings bad ass destruction with an environment that transforms into a destroyed level by the end of a match.

VanaFest is primarily a Final Fantasy 11 fan fare, but their has been big rumors of news about Final Fantasy XIV to be released as the fesival nears. Around the net millions of Final Fantasy fans are waiting for Sunday to recieve this mysterious rumor. There hasn't been any real news on Final Fantasy XIV since the middle of December. However, there is talk of a Beta announcement coming soon as the game is trying very hard to be released before the end of 2010. Check back with Rapture in the coming days for a big surprise or maybe just another screen shot of a crab from Final Fantasy XIV again.

Ubisoft has announced its next installment in the Ghost Recon series. The game has been trade marked Ghost Recon:Future Soldier. In the games first trailer the definition of a future soldier is a F-16 with legs! The game is being hyped to have a state of the art multiplayer and single player game modes.

Future Soldier multiplayer beta is going to be available exclusively to players who buy the 360 version of Splinter Cell Conviction on April 13, 2010. The Beta is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2010 and the actual game is looking for a Fall 2010 release date. EA's prediction was correct and now the New Orleans Saints are Super Bowl Champions. EA has made predictions 7 times for the NFL's most honored game. Super Bowl XLIV was the 6th Super Bowl they have predicted, out of 7 tries. The only one that was actually incorrect happen in 2008. It's stunning that a simulation football game has been this accurate. This definitely gives EA some credit for creating sports games as realistic as possible and also keeping up with their games with great updates.

Final Fantasy XIII is scheduled for release as 3 disc set for the Xbox 360. This not a surprise as a game the size of Final Fantasy XIII is almost automatic for a system that uses DVDs as its format. Multiple disc games have not hurt the sales of 360 games vs PS3 Blue-ray. Fan boys are the only ones that usually even make this an issue.

Mark you calendars. God of War 3 has a released date of March 16, 2010! This will be one week after Final Fantasy XIII will be released. Cheers to an exciting March.

Bad Company 2 will feature its updated frostbite engine that allows for destructive environments and will include entire buildings being destroyed. Beta has all ready been in progress for the last few months, but the PC version started January 7, 2010 and can be access through pre-orders at your local stores. The public beta version for the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be released on February 14. You can pick up those two betas downloads from the Playstation Network and Xbox live stores.
