Battlefield: Bad Comapny 2 Preview

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the next installment in the Battlefield franchise that is known for its awesome usage of vehicles in a first person environment.Bad Company 2 is scheduled for release March 2, 2010 on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The games single player will take place in a fictional war between the United States and Russian Federation.The Multiplayer on the other hand will feature a host of options to rival its competitors like Modern Warfare 2. There will be experience points and 50 different ranks to achieve online glory. The game will feature multiple styles of games and let you choose between 4 different classes. Each class can be modified to your style of play with over 15,000 kit variations and 46 different weapons. Online game play will run on dedicated servers, with up to 24 players according to the developer’s twitter account. This was announced right after Modern Warfare 2 released that its game was going in the direction of shared servers and managed to piss off the hardcore fan base.

Bad Company 2 will feature its updated frostbite engine that allows for destructive environments and will include entire buildings being destroyed this time around. Beta has all ready been in progress for the last few months, but the PC version started January 7, 2010 and can be access through pre-orders at your local stores. The public beta version for the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be released on February 14. You can pick up those two betas downloads from the Playstation Network and Xbox live stores.
